Texas Timers Shipping Policy
We normally have stock on hand for shipment within 48 hours of your order. If there is going to be a delay, we will notify you by email after your order is received. You will have the option of canceling your order if we can not ship as stated above.
Method of Shipment
INTERNATIONAL ONLY
I have discovered that I can ship to some countries by Global Priority
Mail in what is called a flat rate envelope. The cost varies by country, but it
seems to be faster, and for shipments under 1 pound in weight, no customs
declaration is needed. I assume this means no duty at your end. You could save
more than the added shipping cost on customs fees. If you want to investigate
this, send me a message for a cost
quote to your country. Note, the envelope is not as protective as a hard box,
but unless the postal people crush it, my products are packed well enough.
Security in online ordering from us
Your order security is provided by Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology, which is recognized as the industry standard for secure online transactions.
We do not store information about you or your card number on a computer-anywhere.
To verify the security is in effect during the actual ordering process. you may click on the closed padlock icon located on your computer screen. For Internet Explorer users, this is located in the bar along the bottom of the window. For Netscape users, the padlock icon is located in the lower right corner of the screen.
READ WHAT ONE OF THE LEADING INTERNET SECURITY FIRMS HAS TO SAY
Although
credit card fraud is certainly on the rise -- and credit card fraud on the
Internet is rising even more dramatically -- many savvy Internet shoppers know
that the reality is that it's actually much safer to enter your credit card
number on a secure online order form than it is to give your credit card to a
waiter at a restaurant. After all, what's to stop the waiter from writing down
your credit card number and placing orders on the phone with it later?

13 people indicted in $3 million credit card fraud
POSTED: 9:14 a.m. EDT, April 21, 2007
NEW YORK (AP) -- The diners didn't know it, but their credit cards were going to
pay for more than their meals, prosecutors said.
Waiters in about 40 restaurants, in New York and elsewhere, quietly recorded
customers' credit card information and passed it on to people who used the
information to make more than $3 million worth of worth of illegal purchases,
according to prosecutors.
